HP Reverb G2 VR support for new Microsoft Flight Simulator

Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently seen as the best flight simulation at the moment. And from this fall, the simulator will also be available in Virtual Reality!

Later this year, the Virtual Reality compatibility will be added to the Microsoft Flight Simulator game. The first VR goggles that with will be fully game compatible is the new HP Reverb G2. This VR headset is the first to receive a (free) update of the Flight Sim game.

The HP Reverb G2 currently offers the highest possible resolution of all Virtual Reality glasses. with A combined image resolution of 4320 x 2160 pixels (a whopping 2.5 times higher than the Oculus Rift S), with particular simulation games look hyper-realistic. Microsoft Flight Simulator will therefore be the first launch title for the new HP Reverb G2, as it is one of the few headsets to showcase the beauty of the game.

Reverb G2 is a collaboration between hardware developer HP and gaming platform Valve. Valve has already been released earlier this year with the Valve Index VR headset. These glasses are a beautiful piece of hardware, but unfortunately due to logistical circumstances, many users had to wait a few months before they could use the set. In the collaboration with HP, the distribution will hopefully run a lot smoother and everyone can immediately use the new Headset.

"The first feedback after demonstrating MFS on the Reverb G2 was, 'Oh my god! This will be the best VR experience ever!' We put a team on it and then partnered with with HP." - Jorg Neumann, Head of MFS.
