Since the release of the TactSuit in 2017, it has been one of the most forward-thinking haptic feedback solutions in the world. The TactSuit delivers extensive and varied feedback through the combination of 70 individual haptic feedback points. with the TactSuit makes you feel the thrill of Virtual Reality even better than ever before. All devices are connected via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). This ensures a reliable connection, even if several TactSuits are connected in one room. The TactSuit has a universal fit, from children to adults, and is therefore extremely suitable for putting on and taking off quickly.
Developers can easily with the supplied software 'bHaptics Designer' create their own content and draw certain patterns. These patterns are easy to place under content, so that it is not necessary to write complicated codes.
- Which platform does the bhaptics TactSuit support?

- How to connect bhaptics TactSuit to with PC, VR Headset or smartphone?
Before connecting the products of bhaptics with a PC or mobile phone, please bhaptics Player to download and install.
Step 1: Download bhaptics Player (voor PC: ga naar www.bhaptics.com/support / voor mobiel (Android en iOS): Google Playstore / App Store → zoek 'bHaptics" → installeer bhaptics Player);
Step 2: Turn on the products of bhaptics (LED indicator starts flashing with blue light);
Step 3: Start bhaptics Player;
Step 4: Right click with on the program and click "mount".
- Can the TactSuit also be used separately?
The 5 devices of bhaptics work independently of each other, so they can certainly be used separately. We recommend the whole package for complete immersion in the virtual world, but if you prefer ease of use over immersion, the bhaptics vest provides the most sensation.
- What content can I play with the bhaptics TactSuit?
For content that natively supports the TactSuit, you can simply link your bHaptics device to your PC / laptop / VR Headset with using bhaptics Player, then the play content. The content is adapted to the haptic feedback of the devices. A full list of with native-supported VR games can be found here: https://www.bhaptics.com/experiences/vr.
For content that does not have native support, including PC games, movies, and music, use the "Audio-to-Haptic" mode on bhaptics Player. If you want more Information about "Audio-To-Haptics", please see the "What is Audio-To-Haptics" section of this FAQ.
What is "Audio-To-Haptics" and how can I use it?Audio-to-Haptics is a function that allows you to convert sounds into physical feedback. with audio-to-haptics you can play any content, such as VR games, PC games, movies and music, as long as the content has an audio output.
Note that you will receive auto-generated haptic feedback, rather than custom feedback, if you have Audio-to-Haptic mode enabled while playing natively supported content.
To use the Audio to Haptic feature, click the Audio to Haptic icon on the bhaptics Player. The Audio-to-Haptic comes in three different modes: melody, concert bass and action play, and you can adjust the intensity and duration of feedback.
Can I adjust the level of feedback intensity?Yes, the level of intensity is easy to adjust in the bhaptics Player software.
Is the haptic vest really "one-size-fits-all"?The haptic vest has two elastic bands with which the vest can be tightened. When putting on the vest, make sure that the Velcro edges of the elastic band are completely loose. When the player has zipped up the vest, the strap can be fastened around the back. The size of the vest is suitable for both children and adults.
My Computer does not have bluetooth. Can I still use the products of bhaptics?No problem, the bhaptics products come standard with with bluetooth dongle. You can put this dongle in a USB port of your Computer to make a manual bluetooth connection.
with one bluetooth dongle you can connect up to 5 devices from bhaptics (including bhaptics accessories) to the Computer or laptop.
Is there a possibility that bluetooth is not connecting properly, or that there is 'latency'?The advantage of the bluetooth connection is that it can be experienced as very reliable. The connection is partly space dependent, but in a stable environment the latency is 20ms. This means that you will not experience any delays while playing.
In busier areas with multiple devices it is possible that a small form of delay occurs. We therefore always recommend testing with multiple devices at the same time.
How many bHaptics devices can be paired with one bluetooth dongle?Up to 5 devices can be paired with a single bluetooth dongle. This is usually 1 complete bhaptics set.
A second bHaptics set must be connected to a separate Computer.
What is the maximum distance of the Bluetooth dongle?The bluetooth connection lasts ± 10 meters reliably. If you get further than 10 meters away, there may be a delay or the connection may be lost.
This distance can be extended when it is a completely sterile room, or shortened when there are obstacles between the bluetooth dongle and the bhaptics device.
What support can you expect from Unbound VR?Unbound VR is primarily the VR hardware supplier. This means that we supply all hardware for you and, if desired, build and install it for you. If you want to make use of an ongoing support agreement, you can contact with us. It is in fact possible to conclude an agreement with us for the additional services at various levels. For example, do you want us to be available by phone on Saturdays? Or that we come to you in the evening to replace a product directly for you? Please inquire about the possibilities with our customer service.
In most cases, the warranty of the products runs through the factory. Depending on the problem, a defective product will be shipped to the factory, or repaired remotely (if possible). For a warranty case, always first contact with our customer service. We will then try to find a suitable solution for you as soon as possible.
