  • Tips and tricks for the best out-of-the-box HP Reverb G2 experience?

    1. Check your Windows build to make sure you're getting the correct calibration: significant improvements have been made to the Windows Mixed Reality platform to optimize the visual quality of this device. For best performance, make sure you have the latest Windows 10 updates: version 1903/1909 (KB4577062 or later) or 2004 (KB4577063 or later)

    2. The first thing to connect is the oculink connector on the headset! First route the oculink connector through the cable clamp and then connect it to the Headset. An oculink connector is a more physically and electrically vulnerable connector than the USB or DP connector, so we highly recommend that you just leave it in.

    3. The displays are extremely pixel dense, as part of the advanced operation they can show a little ghosting for a few minutes during a cold boot while. Nothing to worry about, just like a car engine they need a little heat to perform optimally!

  • When will the HP Reverb G2 come to the Netherlands?

The HP Reverb G2 pre-orders have now been launched in 27 countries. The first shipment for the Netherlands arrived in November 2020 and will be distributed among the HP partners. Unbound VR will ship the first Reverb G2s to customers during the week of November 23.

  • Should I wait for the HP Reverb G2 Omnicept Edition?

The HP Reverb G2 is for Consumers and businesses. The Omnicept Edition is intended for enterprises and VR developers. Are you therefore a consumer? Then we advise you to go for original Reverb G2.

  • What has been improved on the HP Reverb G2?

The comfort of the Headset and the extremely high image resolution never cease to amaze. But also the quality of the lenses and the tracking calibration are something to get excited about. But the biggest upgrade seems to have been made in the Controllers. The final texture of the Controllers, the way they hold and the overall finish feel great in your hands.
