with the HTC VIVE Focus HTC is targeting VR software developers and professionals. The latest Headset from HTC is characterized by the higher resolution than the existing VIVE headsets. Instead of two screens, the HTC VIVE Focus uses one Amoled panel with with a refresh rate of 75Hz. The Headset runs on HTC's new platform called VIVE Wave. Apps and games can be installed from there.

The Headset comes with with the HTC VIVE Focus joysticks. This Controller registers all movements of the user through bluetooth. Like the Windows Mixed Reality headsets, the tracking position is done from the HTC VIVE Focus glasses, leaving no tracking modules in the space need to be placed.

VIVE Wave

VIVE Wave is the new industry standard for distribution and a hub for developing immersive experiences for both Consumers and Enterprise. VIVE Wave aims to be the eco-system for Standalone and mobile VR. Even if you are not a VIVE developer, there are more than enough options with the included SDK to continue using your own tools, including support for Unity and UE4. Advantage Service

Commercial use requires the VIVE Focus Advantage Service. In addition to the commercial use license agreement, the Advantage Service also provides special support and tools for VIVE Enterprise products. The Advantage Service offers the following services:
