Virtual Reality games are getting better and more realistically developed. Because of the hyper-realistic graphics VR is sometimes almost indistinguishable from the real thing. That realism of course provides the perfect basis for horror games! Because what could be scarier than being chased by horror clowns in a first-person VR environment...

Horror games have long been one of the most popular game genres in VR. In the game you take on the role of a detective. Armed with with a cross and holy water, it's your job to investigate a series of mysterious murders.

Although the gameplay is quite simple, The Exorcist: Legion still manages to create a very exciting atmosphere with with some intense scares. Narcosis is not the standard type of horror game. In Narcosis you play as a diver who explores deep underwater. Unlike other horror games, Narcosis contains virtually no jump scares. But what makes the game so creepy is the fact that you are completely isolated and alone in the dark underwater.

While the game is quite short, the story is solid and the gameplay astonishingly good. Narcosis is therefore a good VR game for anyone looking for an exciting VR game.

Dreadhalls is a must-have for true horror fans. The isolating feeling of being alone, the dark corridors you slowly walk through and the sounds you hear around you make for an exciting and scary adventure that you can only experience with VR.

AFFECTED is one of the most popular VR horror games of the moment. It is an VR experience game that makes very good use of the possibilities of the VR Headset. with well-timed jumpscares, dark corridors and a simple interface, AFFECTED is a strong conclusion to this list.
