(EOL) Valve Index Base Station 2.0
Valve Index base stations are compatible with any Headset with support for SteamVR Version 2.0 tracking, including the Valve Index Headset and the HTC VIVE Pro Headset. In addition, the Valve base stations can be used with all Controllers with support for SteamVR Version 2.0 tracking, including Valve Index [[MD5_15] ] and HTC VIVE Pro Controllers.
The base stations have a standard 1/4 screw thread that allows them to be easily mounted on the wall, on a mounting clamp, or on tripods. For the best tracking always place two base stations diagonally opposite each other at a height of ± 2 meters.
pay attention: Valve Index base stations are not compatible with with the original standard edition of HTC VIVE 1.0 products.
Pros and cons
- The base stations provide an optimal 360-degree tracking for VIVE and Valve products.
- It is possible to place up to 4 base stations in a space of up to 10 x 10 meters.
- The base stations are easy to place against the wall or on a tripod.
- Base stations must always be placed in pairs.
- Note: Never move base stations while they are on. This may cause an internal malfunction after which the base station needs to be repaired.
