1. Anne Frank House VR

The first game in this list is Anne Frank House VR. This is actually more of an experience than a game. The serious subject of Anne Frank's past lays the foundation for this experience. In Anne Frank House VR, in Virtual Reality, you can visit the house where Anne Frank and 8 others went into hiding during the Second World War.

The house is completely recreated in virtual reality. Real reconstructions have been made for this, so that the experience feels very 'real'. Anne Frank House VR is therefore, in our opinion, a must-do experience for anyone who is going to use the Oculus Quest 2 for the first with.

2. Gravity Sketch

Gravity Sketch Fortunately, it's a slightly lighter game. It is a program that allows the user to create 3D artworks. Previously, this application with was mainly used for product designers to put first prototypes of new products in a 3D environment, but now Gravity Sketch has grown into a universal platform for anyone who is creative.

3. Elixir

with Elixir we arrive at the first 'game' in this list. Elixir is a creation of Facebook Reality Labs and demonstrates well the uses of Virtual Reality and the features of the Oculus Quest 2. In the game you are a wizard who ends up in a magical room. In this space you can do and touch all kinds of things, and you come to the craziest experiences.

Nice detail of Elixir is that the game is advanced in the field of hand tracking. As you may already know, there are built-in tracking sensors in the Oculus Quest 2 Headset. These sensors normally register your Controllers, but also just work with your own hands! Elixir is the perfect game to give this a try.

4. Echo VR

The first few games on this list are with particularly good games to get a first Virtual reality experience, but with Echo VR can you really start with gaming. Echo VR is perhaps Oculus' most famous game. Real E-sports competitions are organized around this game.

In a nutshell, Echo VR is a combination of Ultimate Frisbee in a weightless space. with name when you play the game as a team with for example with some friends, you can enjoy it for hours! And if you are also good at it, you can always register for E-sports competitions!

5. Gorilla Tag

Gorilla Tag is exactly what the name suggests: you are a gorilla and must try to tag other gorillas. This sounds hilarious, and it is. The nice thing about Gorilla Tag is that the game is completely online and with a community. For example, you can meet with friends in the same room, but you can also with strangers play a game.

In addition to fanatically playing tag, Gorilla Tag is also regularly used as a 'hangout'. This way you can also just meet with some people in a room and talk quietly, without having to move too fanatically (similar with, for example VR Chat).

6. Epic Roller Coasters

Epic Roller Coaster is a fun VR game if you, or someone else, want to experience Virtual Reality for the first time. Take a ride on the roller coaster and experience a wild ride through the jungle, past zombies or underwater. Tip: always do this while sitting! When you stand up straight and you virtually sit on the roller coaster, you can quickly get sick. Some people can handle this better than others, so always test whether someone likes it before you let them finish an entire roller coaster.

7. Home After War

Just like Anne Frank House is VR. Home After War a Virtual Reality experience that impresses. It shows in an impressive way what the after-effects are on the people who have experienced a war in their homeland. Home After War is a combination of a virtual simulated world where you can walk around and touch things yourself, and 'real life' 360 degree views and is definitely worth a try.
