with Pico you are ready for the real thing. The Pico headsets are designed for Enterprise use. with the latest technologies, Pico's VR glasses are a real asset to the business VR market. All Pico glasses can be used completely Standalone (wireless and without Computer).

This wireless use is made possible by a powerful chipset that is already in the Headset. with this chip allows the VR glasses to display images and applications in a beautiful and smooth way. For example, watch a relatively simple 360 degree video with the Pico G2 4K, or go for a more extensive VR experience with the Pico Neo 2.

Pico's glasses have at least one thing with in common: they are all Enterprise headsets. This means that the glasses may only be used by business users. This is what the Pico software is for. If you as a company want to use the Pico glasses, it is advisable to already have a plan for which software you want to use (for example the Medical Sync VR platform). At the moment, there are some games and applications available as standard on the Pico Interactive platform, but this is very minimal (especially compared to with the Oculus Quest 2 store).

Pico G2 4K (3 DOF) vs. Pico Neo 2 (6 DOF)

Pico has two different models: the Pico G2 line and the Pico Neo line. The Pico G2 (4K) is a 3 DOF (degrees of freedom) Headset which is strongly reminiscent of the Oculus Go. Vanwege het hoge gebruiksgemak is deze bril bij uitstek geschikt voor het bekijken van VR and 360 graden video’s.

The Pico G2 line has a number of different variants, such as the 4K and the 4K Enterprise. The difference in the glasses is with mainly in the size of the battery and the fact that the Enterprise variant has an extra 16MP built-in camera. This makes the tracking of the Headset slightly better than the standard variant.

The Pico Neo 2 (and soon 3) is a 6 DOF Headset. These glasses are more reminiscent of the Oculus Quest 2 - and are therefore considered the business competitor of the Quest 2 Oculus for Business seen. with a 6 DOF Headset it is possible to walk through a physical space, while the Headset moves along. The Pico Neo 2 is therefore more suitable for applications in which you move a lot through a room. A comment here is that the Pico Neo has a less good calibration technique than, for example, the Oculus Quest. Hierdoor ontstaat er soms VR Reality Drift, wat ervoor zorgt dat gebruikers misselijk kunnen worden.
